elaine Whether it's work or play, I have learned the importance of taking new skills and applying them to every part of my world.Having spent time outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking and ATV riding, I have had many opportunities to explore some beautiful country. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to train in Search and Rescue and Canadian Ranger military exercises, giving me some of the much needed skills to feel comfortable in the outdoors.There is always more to learn, but there is always time to take advantage and enjoy what I have come to know. The most important thing is to remain open to what the world has to offer.

As a former student of music I have always been drawn towards the arts. This combined with a love of all that is technical, I chose the world of web technology as an educational path and a means of learning to share my talents and interests. It seemed a natural choice to take things a step further and explore the field of communications. As a senior student in the Royal Roads University "BA in Professional Communications," I feel equipped to move in to the field and put to practice the variety of skills I possess.
